Creative Beauty Editorial in Glasgow - Nude Velvet Nails for a Wet Look Shoot

I was delighted to be part of the creative team for this contemporary beauty editorial shoot in Glasgow, working alongside a talented group of industry professionals.

For the nails, I created a set of nude velvet nails using Brillbird UK Platinum Cat Eye gel, paired with NAF! Pro cuticle oil and Voesh Velvet Luxe hand cream to enhance the glossy, hydrated look. The final effect complemented the wet-look beauty concept, with soft, natural tones and radiant skin textures.

This shoot was a perfect example of how subtle, short nails can still have real impact - especially under studio lighting and close-up beauty photography. The look tapped into current velvet and glass nail trends, using cat eye gel manipulated with a magnet to create a soft, eye-catching shimmer that added depth and dimension without overpowering the overall aesthetic.
