What Nail Courses Don’t Always Teach You: A companion workbook to your training
£29.00

Your qualification teaches you how to do nails.

This workbook helps you navigate everything that comes next.

From confidence and comparison to pricing, boundaries, industry pressure, and professional judgement, this workbook explores the real-life lessons, business skills, and industry insights that aren’t always covered in technical training.

Designed for newly qualified and developing nail technicians, it will help you think critically, make informed decisions, and build a career that works for you.

You learned how to do nails. Now what?

You’ve completed the training.

You’ve invested in your kit.

You’ve started building your client base.

But suddenly you’re faced with questions that no course manual seemed to answer:

  • Why does everyone else seem further ahead than me?

  • How do I know if I’m charging enough?

  • Do I need a mentor?

  • Should I join that membership?

  • Should I become an educator?

  • Why does it feel like everyone is selling something?

  • What does success actually look like?

If you’ve ever asked yourself any of those questions, this workbook is for you.

What Makes This Workbook Different?

Most nail courses focus on technical skills.

This workbook focuses on everything that comes afterwards.

Rather than giving you another formula to follow, this workbook will help you ask better questions, think critically about opportunities, and make informed decisions that are right for you.

It is not another technical course.

It is not a business coaching programme.

It is not a membership.

It is a practical workbook designed to help you navigate the realities of the nail industry with confidence and clarity.

How Is This Different From Brush Up on Your Business Skills?

Brush Up on Your Business Skills focuses on how to run a business.

It covers practical topics such as pricing, marketing, client retention, finances, and business systems.

What Nail Courses Don’t Always Teach You focuses on how to navigate a career.

It explores confidence, comparison, industry pressure, decision-making, professional judgement, and critical thinking.

Together, they complement each other.

One helps you run your business.

The other helps you decide what kind of business and career you want to build.

Final Thoughts

Technical skills may earn a certificate.

Professional judgement builds a career.

This workbook won’t tell you what to think.

It will help you ask better questions, make more informed decisions, and build a nail business that works for you.
