Sunflowers & Studio Inspiration: Nail Art Inspired by the Scottish Countryside

There’s something special about catching a glimpse of late summer sunflowers while driving through the Scottish countryside. Their bold, golden petals and rich, earthy tones just stop you in your tracks.

As soon as I saw them, I knew I wanted to capture their warmth and turn them into tiny, wearable art. I used a soft, milky builder gel base and carefully hand-painted delicate sunflowers across my natural nails - keeping the design romantic, subtle, and seasonal.

I always enjoy taking inspiration from nature and creating designs that feel rooted in the world around us. Especially living here in Callander, in the Trossachs, where the landscape changes so beautifully with the seasons.
