It’s been another packed week in the studio - bursting with summer colour, fun nail art, and great client chats. It’s always lovely reconnecting with returning clients and meeting new ones - including someone this week who turns out to live on the same street as me! Let’s take a look at what’s been trending at the nail desk.
Popular Colours This Week
Blues, purples and pinks have been in high demand, along with some brighter summer shades. One standout was Kokoist x Nail Thoughts “Lazy Day” - a dreamy periwinkle blue with just a hint of lilac. I’d forgotten how good this one is!
Nail Art Trends
It’s been a creative week with a real mix of designs - fruit-themed sets, floral details, birthday nails, holiday nails, blooming gel art, and even a Hungry Caterpillar-inspired look. Cute, colourful and fun was definitely the theme.
News From the Studio
Behind the scenes, I’ve been working on some exciting brand partnerships that I can’t wait to share with my students. These collaborations will give even more value to those training with me - more info coming soon!
Appointment Bookings
I think most of my lovely regulars are now sorted with their summer holiday nail appointments - thank you! Just a heads up that I only have one training course date left to book before the school holidays begin. Don’t worry if you miss it though - more course dates will be added once schools go back.
And a quick reminder for brides-to-be: I’m not taking bookings for 2026 weddings just yet, but feel free to drop me a message to register your interest in advance.
Nail Desk Chat
This week’s hot topic? Breakfast! From smoothie bowls to overnight oats, my clients have been full of great recipe suggestions. I’m a big breakfast lover (I’ve been known to have breakfast for dinner after a late finish), so I’ll definitely be giving some of them a try.
Nails I Wanted to Steal This Week
A simple but perfect set - Kokoist “Lazy Day” in all its periwinkle glory. No nail art, just that stunning colour. I’m seriously tempted to wear it myself, maybe even as a fresh French tip for summer.
