Studio Snapshot – 10th April 2026
Popular Colours This Week
A real mix this week, from fun brights through to soft, subtle nudes. The constantly changing weather seems to have influenced choices, with clients switching between fresh spring tones and more muted, cosy shades depending on the day.
Nail Art Trends
Cat eye has been everywhere this week. Some clients kept it simple, while others added their own twist with layering techniques using syrup gels, chrome accents, webbing, and small star or shape details. It is one of those finishes that can be adapted to suit so many different styles.
News from the Studio
This was the final week before the Easter holidays, so it has been a busy one with regular clients getting booked in before my time off. No courses this week, just a full focus on client appointments.
Appointment & Course Bookings
Bookings for regular clients are now open up until June. I will be taking time off during the school holidays in July and August, but dates are not confirmed yet, so appointments beyond June are not available for now.
Course bookings are also open up until June, with new dates now available to book via the website here.
Nail Desk Chat
Lots of Easter holiday plans being discussed this week, along with ideas for keeping the kids busy. There has also been plenty of chat about new businesses and developments in the town, as well as lots of camping and campervan tips being shared.
Nails I Wanted to Steal This Week
A layered cat eye set really stood out. Using “Hokkaido Melon” from Kokoist x Nail Thoughts across Japan collection alongside a new colour for me, “Cashmere Cardigan”, it created the most beautiful peachy shimmer. Soft, glowy and perfect for this time of year.
