Another full week of fun designs, client chats, and training courses.

Popular Colours This Week

Clients have been loving glowy, light-reflective shades - Frosted and Moonstone from Kokoist x Nail Thoughts have been perfect for that soft, illuminated finish.

We’ve also had some fun layering Confetti from Twenty over sheer bases - a subtle way to add a fun twist without going full glitter.

Nail Art Trends

Blooming gel is back on the desk - paired with delicate marbling and touches of gold leaf for a luxe finish. Abstract, diffused flowers and patterns have also made on-trend accent nails.

News From the Studio

This week, I welcomed another student into the studio to learn the art of builder gel application. It’s always good to help nail techs level up their skills and feel confident offering professional services.

All course dates before the summer holidays are now full. I’ll be updating my availability for August onwards later in the summer once the kids are back at school, so join my mailing list if you’re hoping to train with me soon.

Nail Desk Chat

The Strawberry Moon was the hot topic this week - or rather, the lack of it! Major disappointment… did anyone actually catch a glimpse?

Other highlights included the series Mob Land (seems a lot of my clients are Tom Hardy fans!), and growing anticipation for the new Yungblud album - I was surprised at the wide range of ages on board with that one!
