Popular Colours This Week
Blue ended up being the surprise favourite this week. One of my fashion-forward clients predicted it on Monday evening, and she turned out to be absolutely right. From soft cornflower shades to brighter blues, it definitely stole the spotlight.
Nail Art Trends
Clients have been loving the new Neko Gel collections this week. The fruity collection has already inspired blueberry and apple nail art, while the ice cream collection is full of beautiful pastel shades that are perfect for summer. It has been a fun week for colourful, playful designs.
News from the Studio
As always, the school summer holidays are a bit of a juggling act, so apologies for the lack of updates recently. I’ve been busy with clients, but time for admin has been fairly limited.
On a more personal note, I also celebrated a big milestone this week… I now have a teenager! 🤯 I took the day off to celebrate, which was lovely.
Appointment and Course Bookings
There are a few appointment spaces remaining towards the end of August, and September is now open for regular clients.
I don’t have any in-person training dates available until after the school holidays, but if you’re thinking about training, feel free to send me a message or email to arrange a call and discuss the best option for you. My online courses and digital resources are available to purchase and work through at your own pace in the meantime.
Nail Desk Chat
The conversations this week have been as varied as ever. The new Katie Price documentary seemed to be on everyone’s watch list along with I kissed a girl and somehow football is still managing to dominate the chat!
There was also plenty of talk about BBQs, with one client telling me all about her new Ninja BBQ, which sounded amazing. That naturally led to everyone’s favourite BBQ foods, sides and, of course, a few M&S recommendations.
Nails I Wanted to Steal This Week
I genuinely couldn’t choose just one this week. The Wedgwood-inspired set had such a timeless feel and I always love a floral, while the abstract blueberry nails were colourful, playful and something completely different. They couldn’t have been more different, but I loved them both for exactly that reason.
