Popular Colours This Week

“My Favorite Red” by Kokoist x Nail Thoughts has been the standout shade - I posted it earlier in the week and so many of you have since requested it. One client chose to add an iced chrome finish which was absolutely stunning. Blues have also been popular, especially in florals and marble designs.

Nail Art Trends

A mix of classic and creative this week. Two bridal sets – one traditional, and one featuring hand-painted gold chrome celestial details. I also created my first-ever deer print design (my clients always bring the best inspiration!) Florals continue to be a go-to choice as always with no complaints from me!

News from the Studio

I’ve been loving the Staleks disposable file system. I use metal, plastic, and wooden bases in the studio to suit individual client needs. I now have a few of the wooden-base file packs available to purchase here – ideal for holiday nail touch-ups or emergencies and really affordable.

Appointment Bookings

I’ll be off next week for the school holidays with the kids. I’m planning to fully switch off, so there will be a delay in replying to enquiries. Feel free to send through your inspo pics in the meantime - I’ll catch up when I’m back at work.

Nail Desk Chat

We’ve been chatting summer holiday prep - packing lists, changing the beds, full house cleans before leaving. I’ve also had lots of book recommendations, including Seven Summers by Paige Toon, which sounds like a perfect easy summer read. I’ve joined the library (a bit late, I know, I’m there every week with my youngest son who is a big reader!) but I didn’t know that you can access ebooks and audiobooks free via their app - game changer!

Nails I Wanted to Steal This Week

It has to be either the blue florals or blue marble design. I’ve been loving custom mixing blue shades, and both of these sets featured delicate silver leaf accents that looked beautiful with milky sheer bases.
