It’s been another packed week in the studio - full of training, catch ups with lovely regular clients and cute nail art. From strawberries to structured overlays, here’s what’s been going on.

Popular Colours This Week

Twenty’s builder gel in “Nue” has been a firm favourite again - it’s the perfect clean, natural base that suits everything from minimalist looks to layered nail art.

Nail Art Trends

It’s been a fruity kind of week! I’ve painted daisies, strawberries, chillis and mixed fruits - playful designs are definitely having a moment. These little details are perfect for adding personality to shorter nails or keeping things fun for the summer season.

News From the Studio

This week included two training sessions - one manicure course and one gel polish course. It’s always inspiring to help new students start (or grow) their journey into the nail industry. Whether it’s their first time shaping nails or building on existing skills, I’m always grateful that students choose to learn with me.

Appointment Bookings

May, June and July are pretty much full now with weddings and holidays sets, so make sure your nails are on the list.

Nail Desk Chat

Plenty of summery chat this week - upcoming holidays, summer style picks, and of course, the mini heatwave we’ve been enjoying in Scotland (who knew we’d be breaking out the SPF in May?). Clients have been talking garden BBQs, iced coffees, and thoughts on Eurovision.

Nails I Wanted to Steal This Week

There was a cute glitter fade set with chrome fruits from Wednesday night that I am seriously considering replicating on myself. Fun, summery, and totally unexpected - I can definitely see fruit nail art becoming a trend moving into the warmer months.
