My summer nail care tips
Wash and dry hands after contact with chlorine as this can cause gel to lift.
Be mindful of how long your nails are in water, it softens them and can cause gel to lift.
Wipe nails after applying SPF as this can dull or stain gel.
Continue to oil your cuticles and moisturise hands at night as the sun is drying and SPF isn’t a moisturiser.
Be aware that prolonged exposure to sun can affect the colour and longevity of some gel.
Don’t forget to use SPF 30 or higher on your hands every day to protect your skin and minimise signs of aging.
