Halloween Nail Art Workshop
Salon-friendly Halloween nail art, with the skills and creative thinking to make it your own.
A practical online nail art workshop designed to help you create wearable Halloween designs while developing techniques you can continue using beyond the spooky season.
Rather than simply following designs step by step, you’ll explore how and why each design works, how to adapt it for different clients, and how to use the techniques as a starting point for your own ideas.
Five Halloween design themes
Work through five salon-friendly Halloween designs, each chosen to introduce different techniques, finishes and approaches.
Spider Webs
Create fine, delicate spider webs with a sheer black base, with different placement ideas and an optional holographic sequin spider accent.
Blood Drip French
Turn a classic French into a Halloween design with painted blood drips and holographic foil details, plus a bleeding heart accent and ideas for adapting the technique beyond Halloween.
Spooky Smokes
Use blooming gel to create a soft, smoky marbled effect, finished with hand-painted bats and delicate silver details.
Patchwork French
Give a classic white French a graphic Halloween twist with black outlines and irregular stitched details, alongside a coordinating patchwork heart accent.
Bubbling Potion
Combine layered colour, cat-eye gel, blooming gel and painted details to create an organic, otherworldly potion effect with plenty of scope for experimenting with your own colour combinations.
More than simply recreating the design
The aim of this workshop isn’t to make your nails look exactly like mine.
Throughout the workbook, you’ll be encouraged to experiment with colour, placement, scale, texture and finish, with Make It Your Own suggestions alongside each tutorial.
You’ll also explore the wider Halloween theme through colour, texture, line and contrast, helping you understand how inspiration can be developed into nail art rather than simply copied.
Learn the techniques, understand the process, then use them to develop ideas that feel like your own.
Learn in the way that works for you
Everyone learns practical skills a little differently, so each design is supported in more than one way.
You can watch the full technique being demonstrated, listen to the accompanying voiceover and use optional subtitles, while your workbook gives you clear written instructions and step-by-step photographs to refer back to at your own pace.
Watch and follow along, work from the workbook, or use both together.

Build skills you can use beyond Halloween
The workshop doesn’t end when you’ve recreated the designs.
Creative development activities encourage you to look at inspiration differently, identify the colours, textures, lines, contrasts and techniques that interest you, and turn those observations into your own nail art.
Many of the techniques can also be taken beyond Halloween. Change the colours, remove or replace individual details, combine techniques differently or use what you’ve learned as the starting point for a completely new design.
The aim is to give you practical skills you can return to season after season, rather than five designs you can only recreate one way.
Plan designs for real client appointments
The printable Nail Design Planners help you take that creative process into your own client work.
Use them to plan colour palettes, nail art placement, products and design ideas before an appointment, whether you’re creating a bespoke Halloween set for a client, adapting one of the workshop designs or developing something completely new.
Different nail shapes are included, and the planners can be printed whenever you need them for future designs and client appointments.
Troubleshooting included
Nail art rarely looks perfect on the first attempt.
The workbook includes practical troubleshooting for some of the challenges you might encounter, including spider webs that don’t look even, creating a neat French outline, controlling blooming gel, adapting designs for shorter nails, fitting detailed nail art into appointment times and building confidence with fine detail.
